Emma A. Fletcher

Emma Fletcher is a partner with Harrington Brewster Mahoney Smits, P.C. whose practice consists of family law and estate planning.

In the family law arena, Emma has extensive experience both in and out of the courtroom. Emma is a collaboratively trained attorney who strives to achieve holistic settlements that allow her clients to move forward with their life in confidence. When amicable settlement is not possible, Emma is well equipped for litigation. Her tactful preparation and poise shine in the courtroom. In addition to individual representation, Emma also provides mediation, arbitration, and PC/DM services.

For estate planning, Emma works with her clients in thoughtful manner that results in a cohesive plan for her clients and their beneficiaries. Clients can work with Emma to create or update planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills/advance directives, and guardianship appointments. With her experience in family law, Emma is especially well positioned to help clients update their estate plan following a divorce or legal separation.

With a background in both family law and estate planning, a significant portion of Emma’s practice is dedicated to drafting marital and premarital agreements.
