Biography
Sydney D. Haskins (formerly Kossow) is an associate attorney with Harrington Brewster Mahoney Smits PC, where she represents clients in a wide range of family law matters at all stages of litigation and resolution. She approaches each case with a balance of strategic advocacy and thoughtful counsel, guiding clients through emotionally charged situations with clarity and purpose.
With substantial courtroom and trial experience from her leadership as Chief of the Criminal Clinic during law school to civil, criminal, and family law litigation, Sydney leverages that background to provide informed guidance on risk, positioning, and resolution. She helps clients pursue negotiated and collaborative outcomes whenever possible while remaining fully prepared to advocate in court when necessary.
Sydney brings a diverse legal background in criminal defense, civil rights litigation, and family law, allowing her to analyze legal issues from multiple perspectives. Her work in high-stakes and sensitive matters has equipped her with strong courtroom skills, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of her clients.
