Biography
Katherine Lyons Reckman is an associate attorney practicing family law.
Prior to attending law school, Katherine taught preschool and worked as a Constituent Services Representative for U.S. Congressman Ed Perlmutter. For two years of law school, Katherine interned and worked under a Senior Student License for Cabrini Green Legal Aid in Chicago as part of their family law group. Katherine received the Dean's Certificate of pro bono service from DePaul for her work with CGLA. As a part of DePaul University's Family Law Clinic, she was able to gain further experience with family law cases. After her first year of law school, she interned for the Honorable John L. Kane of the U.S. District Court of Colorado. Following law school, Katherine clerked for the Honorable Andrew P. McCallin of the Denver District Court and then transitioned to private practice. Katherine previously worked with a family law firm based in Broomfield and Denver for 4 ½ years.
Katherine is a Denver native and enjoys cooking, photography, running, hiking, skiing, snowboarding and most anything outside, preferably with her husband Nick, their sons and their two black labs.
